Before establishing his media network operations, Dan Abrams built a successful 20-year career in news broadcasting and legal analysis. Dan Abrams’ relationship with NBC began after he graduated from Duke University and obtained a sports internship with the television news station. Dan Abrams later served NBC as a news consultant, a general assignment correspondent, and General Manager of MSNBC. Dan Abrams’ Juris Doctor from Columbia Law School allowed him to combine legal analysis to journalism and he thrived as Chief Legal Analyst for NBC/MSNBC. Dan Abrams also created The Abrams Report, a show that he originated and hosted for five years, and the popular 2007 program Verdict with Dan Abrams.
From 1992 to 1997, Dan Abrams served as a court reporter for CourtTV (now TruTV), covering many high profile cases, such as the O.J. Simpson trial, the Menendez Brothers trial, and the Jon Benét Ramsey Trial.
