The Swiss-Israeli Mezzo-soprano, Dana Kaplan-Heisler, is a graduate of The Academy of Music and Theatre “Felix Mendelssohn-Bartholdy” in Leipzig, Germany.
During her studies she sang the role of Clorinda in G. Rossini's “La Cenerentola” at the Kammeroper Wittenberg" and in 2009 she portrayed the role of Un journaliste parisien and Lacouf in F. Poulenc's "Les Mammelles de Tirésias".
Since October 2010, Dana Kaplan-Heisler has been a regular Concert and Oratorio Soloist throughout France and Germany. Recent Oratorio engagements include G.F. Haendel’s “Messiah” and “Foundling Hospital Anthem”, M.A. Charpentier’s “Te Deum” and Camille Saint-Saens’s “Christmas Oratorio”.
She has worked with Prof. Roland Schubert at the Academy of Music and Theatre Leipzig, as well as with John Norris and Abbie Furmansky in Berlin and continues her studies with Internatioal Singing Specialist Ross Campbell, Professor of Singing at London’s Royal Academy of Music.
