Dan Biondi

Working on five continents, Dan Biondi has served as an executive at leading medical instrument, scientific equipment, and high profile technology companies for the last two decades. Employing the experience he garnered in these roles, Mr. Biondi additionally functioned as an executive consultant. Most recently, he held the role of COO, Executive Vice President, and Representative Director of the Board for LECO Japan Corporation, KK, in Tokyo, Japan, where he helped grow the company's revenue by designing, and implementing operational improvements, revitalized the company’s brand, and opened new markets for LECO instruments throughout Japan. Mr. Biondi has also worked with Conventional Wisdom, LLC, in Scottsdale, Arizona, and Olympus America, Inc., in Melville, New York.

Prior to beginning his career, Dan Biondi earned a Bachelor of Science in Military History/Science from the University of California, Los Angeles. He also garnered a Master of Science in Physics and a Bachelor of Arts in Biology from California State University-Dominguez Hills. In order to refine his skills, Mr. Biondi took courses in executive financial and strategic management at Harvard University and Stanford University.

A former chair of the audit committee serving the Board of Trustees of the Rhode Island School of Design, Dan Biondi maintains membership with American Telemedicine Association. He also held a position on the Board at St. Charles Hospital and Rehabilitation Center in Port Jefferson, New York, which named a wing after Mr. Biondi. In 1998, New York’s Nassau and Suffolk Counties’ Hospital Association recognized Mr. Biondi with the Theodore Roosevelt Award for his “Contribution to the Care of the Sick” at St. Charles Hospital.
