Dan is a succesful entrepreneur, executive and consultant with twenty five years of professional experience. He brings a fresh and creative perspective to all of his endeavors. He is founder and co-owner of the Evergreen Lodge, Camp Navarro and Southern Yosemite Mountain Guides (SYMG) and ran the Cleo Foundation for many years.

Consulting clients have included Diageo, National Geographic, Trails.com, Harmony Festival, and TopoZone. He is an advisor to Backcountry Pictures, Digital Detox/Camp Grounded and Mountain Riders Alliance.

Dan is a San Francisco native and is greatly influenced by nature, sustainable business practices and purpose driven individuals. His career also includes time as a sponsored outdoor athlete for fastpacking, product developer for the outdoor industry, manager of a national touring band, extensive wine and food experience and he was the co-creator of the first online outdoor trail database.

Dan excels at business development, strategic planning, fundraising, marketing, and branding. Seeing opportunities in underutilized companies and assets as well as emerging consumer trends is his 'secret sauce'.
