Dan Chiasson

Dan is often considered a technical jack-of-all-trades, and a "go-to" person for all sorts of complex problem solving. Trained in engineering and computer science, he also has a background as a professional musician and sound engineer having toured Canada and Europe. Dan has also worked in technology for various companies, including Verizon and BMC Software, in various highly technical roles, including IT management.

Dan has a passion for the creative use of technology, and for finding creative solutions for complex technical problems. He spends much of his free time learning new technologies in his project studio and multimedia lab. His other interests include various outdoor activities such as cycling, hiking, snowboarding, and surfing.

Originally from Moncton, New Brunswick, Dan now lives in Montreal, Quebec.
