Dan Dargon

Carthage, NY

With experience in general legal practice, Dan Dargon has served as a United States Army Specialist since 2011. Having completed Infantry One Station Unit Training, Dan Dargon earned promotion to Team Leader. He is currently based out of Fort Drum in New York State and commands an Alpha Company, 1-87th Regiment, 10th Mountain Division Light Infantry fire team.

Mr. Dargon served as General Partner with Dargon Law Firm, PLLC, the law firm he founded, from 2008 to 2011. Offering representation in family law, general practice, and personal injury matters, he expanded the firm from a single attorney to six associates and four paralegals within a two-year period. A particular emphasis was on consumer bankruptcy issues and Dan Dargon successfully provided foreclosure relief to hundreds of homeowners.

Dan Dargon attended Bates College in Lewiston, Maine, from 2000 to 2004. Earning his Bachelor's degree in Political Science, he served as Officer with the Brooks Quimby Debate Council. He notably participated in the 2003 World Parliamentary Debate Championship in South Africa, as well as in international debate events in England and Canada. Mr. Dargon was also co-founder and Senior Editor of the libertarianism-focused John Galt Press.

Pursuing J.D. studies at the University of New Hampshire School of Law, Dan Dargon earned distinction as a Senior Board Member of the Moot Court and as a Phi Alpha Delta Member. Focused on trial advocacy, he authored the paper "Clear and Convincing: Shifting the Burden for Involuntary Civil Commitment in New Hampshire." He additionally assisted clients pro-bono at Franklin Pierce Law Center clinics as a Rule 36 student attorney.
