Hello!

It's great that you're interested in having a D&G Clothes Swap Party - VJ Davidson & Effie Gleed have been hosting them for over 20 years and we love our ministry. Recycling, repurposing and reusing have been a passion of ours, long before it became trendy! We pioneered Clothes Swap Parties as a way to fellowship and minister to new and older convert ladies. We started at our Potters House Church base, and also travel in and around the UK across our Fellowship Churches.

Here's some useful information for you to consider if you'd like to book us to come to your church:

• We'll host the whole event, so you can join in the fun too! We'll need approx. 3 hours
• When you confirm a date (usually a Saturday afternoon), venue, and time, we'll create an e-flyer for you to promote to your ladies, both new and established converts. It's also suitable as an outreach event and is very inclusive. Invite people ASAP and hype it up.
• You need to ensure a minimum of 10 attendees, organise snacks, drinks and a contribution towards our petrol please. We always travel together in one car, £0.60 per mile return from London E15. We can work out the mileage when you have secured a venue - church/community hall or large living room in someone's home - we can make it work :)
• Start clearing out those wardrobes! Bring all CLEAN & UNWANTED clothing/accessories/bags/shoes etc. that can have a new lease of life and bless someone else.

About the Hosts

VJ & Effie are active, married, mothers, saved and serving faithfully in our mother church in Waltham Forest for over 30 years. We come sharing testimonies and top tips on how our apparel can bring glory to God's Kingdom.
