Design should tell a story.
With an extensive background in theatre and the performing arts, I try to apply the same story-telling principles of those disciplines into my design work. Design should be an experience and should flow with a beginning, a middle, and end—structuring itself as a narrative.
Since graduating from the University of Southern California in 2004 (B.A., Theatre) graphic design has been not just a career, but a persistent passion. I have exceptional marketing materials specific to performing arts, events and student programs within the context of a broader identity system. I am a quick study when it comes to all things related to graphic production and I thrive at learning new skills in relatable areas.
In my current position as Director of USC Spectrum my responsibilities include developing and implementing marketing plans for a wide variety of events—dance, theatre, comedy and special lectures, and from those projects I have broad experience in design project management, development and execution. I have delivered countless projects over the years including brochures, logos, fliers, newsletters for a clients that include the Ronald Tutor Campus Center, the Office of Religious Life, School of Dramatic Arts, Orientation Programs, USC Associates, University Events, Office of International Services, the USC Fisher Museum and more.
