Daniel English

Hey! My name is Dan English and I currently a third year Advertising & Public Relations major at the Rochester Institute of Technology. I'm originally from Monroeville, Pennsylvania (right outside of Pittsburgh) and I love so many things about what I do. I have true passion for communication, advertising, marketing, creativity and anything with tons of imagination plus I am always looking for a new challenge to face or adventure to take on. I am Director of Communications for the Off Campus and Apartment Student Association at RIT, as well as a member of Lambda Pi Eta, the national communication honor society, an assistant with the New Student Orientation program and a very proud Eagle Scout.

I'm working currently to earn my degree from RIT and I hope to work in the field of advertising or marketing, where I can invest my passion and use my skills in copywriting, visual commmunication, mass communication, marketing, social media and campaign planning to help others achieve their goals. I have worked on several projects including designing a brochure for the undeclared program at RIT and taking second place at RIT in the Macy's Challenge 2011 (a competition to rebrand Macy's for a younger generation).

Besides all of this, I also have many other interests: I am a sports fanatic who loves soccer, hockey and football, I love art and history and learning about them, and I love exploring how technology and communication make the world work.
