Eversince I accidentally played a song by ear - from a wooden toy piano - I found lying around in my garage - 35 years ago, I was fascinated by notes coming out of my own fingers - so to speak...so when my parents made the decision for me to study Hotel Management in Switzerland, I took that opportunity to see the world with my own eyes, and hear the music with my own ears. ( oh yes, I still tried hard to keep up with my study ) Tried to go to Summer Music Festivals as much as I could. The one that I always remembered, and made such an unforgettable impression was North Sea Jazz Festival 1986, Holland. It was still held in Den Haag at that time. I was fortunate to see Miles Davis Live! Then I went to Australia, after going home trying to work in the Hotel Industry which was kind of a lonely and lost - "what am I doing" kind of situation. I studied film first at KVB TV&Film Production, then went on to study at Australian Institute of Music, both in Sydney. Now I'm here in Indonesia since 2001, realizing that my first love was music, especially since the day I played by ear those notes on that wooden toy piano..and will always be music for the rest of my life on earth
