Dan Garrett

My name is Dan Garrett. I'm currently a senior in high school at a great Utah school. I plan on serving an LDS mission after I graduate, and then to go to BYU to study Statistics as well as Music.

I've been heavily involved in music all my life whether it's choir or orchestra and I've been a part of many amazing orchestras and choirs in both junior high and high school.

Currently, I work at a restaurant near my home as a cook and in the past I've worked at a tree nursery doing manual labor.

I love to learn, especially in the fields of math and science. I've taken several advanced math and science courses and I enjoy the difficulty and way of thinking they require.

On a more informal note, I love to yo-yo and I competed at the South Central Regional Yo-Yo contest in Denver earlier this year. I've been yo-yoing for about three and half years now and love it! I also have tons of fun doing ballroom dancing, specifically cha-cha, country swing, and waltz.
