I'm an American with a weird name based out of Taipei.

I moved here in 2011 after working for IBM as a consultant for 3 years and realizing the corporate life was not for me.

These days I write, climb, swing dance, and travel when I have the chance .

I write because it lets me travel and live where I want, but I also write because I genuinely enjoy learning and talking about cool technology.

Over the past year and a half, I've gotten deep into cryptocurrencies - and Bitcoin in particular. I currently host the Taipei Bitcoin Meetup and also write for a crypto startup.

I truly think that this is not just something to make money off, but something that will change the world for the better.
