"Live! Life's a banquet and most poor suckers are starving to death!" - Mame Dennis, Auntie Mame (1958)
I have a BA in Media Studies from The University of North Carolina at Greensboro as well as a master's degree (M.Phil) in Film Studies from Trinity College Dublin.
During my master's program, I began to dabble in Web Development and Object-oriented Programming (OOP). Wanting to study further and enter into the world of software development, I went to Grace Hopper Academy in NYC, an immersive software engineering school for women focusing on full-stack JavaScript and the SEAN (Sequelize, Express.js, Angular.js, Node.js) stack. Currently, I am looking for full-stack development opportunities in the NYC metro area.
Before entering the tech world, I had professional experience in retail management and non-profit administration, cultivating a 'customer-first' mentality - a strong foundation in my design of user-centered applications!
