Daniel de Sant'anna Martins is a father, ludologist, futurist, designer, researcher, educator and consultant. Master's degree in Design (CESAR School), postgraduate degree in Strategic Design (ESPM-RJ) and graduated in Industrial Design (UNESA).

CEO of D+1 Design & Games, specialized in developing ludocentric solutions and learning experiences, with a focus on promoting social impact and socio-emotional skills, through analog or digital approaches.

Ludologist and associate member of Teach The Future, a global movement of researchers and futurists that inserts the methodologies and tools of Future Studies / Futurism at all levels of education.

Winner of Brasil Criativo Award in 2023 for Best Brazilian Game; winner of Festival Rebeldias 2021 and 2020 in the Social Game category; SBGames 2019 for Best Brazilian Game in the Board Games category; finalist in the 38th Édition du Concours international de Créateurs de Jeux de Société de Boulogne-Billancourt, SBGames and Festival Rebeldias for 4 consecutive years.

Former Senior Game Designer at Facily, Senior Designer at BairesDev, Pedagogical Director at École 42|Rio, Innovation Specialist at MJV and Business associate at VTURE.

Worked as a freelancer and in agencies for almost 20 years, managing different teams and projects for national and international clients. Self-taught game designer, works since 2012 in the game development market and also in the educational context. He has designed game development courses throughout Brazil, and acted as an educator and pedagogical coordinator in large companies or educational projects, such as: École 42, Miami Ad School, CESAR School, NAVE, Escola SESC de Ensino Médio, Senac, Senai, Unigranrio, Estácio etc.
