My name is Daniel Cooke a Music Writer originally from the West Midlands who has migrated south to the 'sunny' shores of Southampton.

I love to discover new and exciting music from Jazz to Punk, Techno to Metal, It's this passion for new music that has drawn me to writing and share my love for some of the most exciting acts around.

An avid festival and gig goer I relish every second spent in a live music environment, I have worked with International brands such as Watergate and Defected and Camp Bestival which has given me not only unforgettable times but valuable experience.

I also hold interests in animal welfare, environmental sustainability, politics, sports, reading and traveling the world.

My goal is to become a valued member of a team informing people about new and exciting music from around the world, to work for a publication that shares the same values and excitement about the musical landscape as myself.
