Dan Marderosian

Dan Marderosian works with VA Lending, Quicken Loans. A native of Detroit, Michigan, Dan served in the US Navy at age 18 and attained the rank of E-5 in 13 months while completing Basic Underwater Demolition School (BUD/S) Class 241. After his naval service, Dan worked as a private security contractor prior to making a huge career change into the world of finance. Dan joined Quicken in 2005 as a mortgage banker without experience in the field. Through many months of hard work, Dan was able to excel above his colleagues and was rewarded with the opportunity to start a banking team.

In April 2006, Dan was hand-picked with a group of 25 mortgage bankers to leave Quicken's headquarters of Livonia, MI and open up the first remote location in Cleveland, OH. Through hard work and dedication to this site, Dan was chosen to take on more of a leadership role for Quicken Loans

In March 2007, Dan was promoted to Director of Mortgage Banking, heading up team "Smokin' Aces. The Smokin' Aces immediately made a positive impact throughout the company and as a result were awarded the "Rookie Team of the Year, 2007" award. In November 2008, Dan was promoted to Senior Director of Mortgage Banking, and joined a high level group of skilled leaders throughout the company. The Aces went on to achieve global success, most noted for the rolloff of 7 future leaders who would eventually create their own team within the company.

Realizing that specialized teams were the most efficient way to handle our business, Dan was promoted to Regional Vice President in August 2011, with just under 6 years at Quicken Loans. Dan was tasked with the day-to-day operation of the "VA Unit", including providing assistance on development, marketing, policy and governance, as well as creating/implementing training tools to help the individual and the team meet their production and client service expectations.

Dan retired from Quicken Loans/Rocket Mortgage in 2025 and founded At Home Lending, a localized mortgage broker serving much of the central and souther US states.

Dan is a graduate of Howe Military Academy and currently attending Colorado Technical University with a focus in finance. He specializes in leadership/team development and mortgage origination/operations.
