Started taking classes in Information Systems back in 2000 while still holding a full time job. I took what ever classes were available that could fit into my work schedule, during that time I took 2 years off of classes so that my wife could work on her degree and graduate. While working at Wal-Mart Distribution Center as a maintenance associate, I made the decision to devote as much time as possible to completing my degree. I obtained a Microsoft Certification in Windows 7 and a CompTia A+ certification.
My work experience started by repairing and building PC's for friends and family, word of mouth spread that I did quality work and was fair with my prices.
I got the chance to intern at Cleveland County Hospice and that was where I found my passion for working in the Healthcare IT field. Directly after my internship was over I worked for Carolina's Healthcare, as a project technician While working for CHS, I was contracted to work for Fresenius Medical. Since then I have move on to be the IT Manager for Family Care Partners in Fort Mill, SC. Here I am able to manage our Help desk and also preform other duties as in the procurement of inventory for the IT department.
Looking for position that will allow me to move from a Help Desk Technician into management with emphasis on project management.
