Working at the corporate communications department of a municipal energy-supplying company.

Studies in history and political sciences in Bochum, Duisburg, Essen, Cologne, and Liverpool (GB). Initially a German MP's scientific assistant. Teaching assignments at RUB and FHöV. Now working as press- and public-relations-manager at Energieversorgung Oberhausen AG (evo).

Various scientific publications about national socialism and Mülheim's local history. A PhD-thesis dealing with the »Reich ministry for people's enlightenment and propaganda« is in preparation.

Committed to municipal politics: Chairman of a local branch of Germany's Social Democratic Party (SPD). Since the municipal elections in May 2014 elected member of Mülheim's city council.
