CMO for Armourcoat, a market leading exporter and specialist contractor of decorative surface finishes - with offices in Las Vegas and London. Family-owned, $10m turnover business developed over 30 years, overseeing a large international network of 50 agents representing 80 countries and US/UK specialist contracting teams. Product portfolio includes polished plasters, architectural coatings, specialist renders and new acoustic plaster system.
Since my appointment in 2004, I have overseen a global marketing programme and the launch of strategic new products, which exceeded sales targets and have been recognised with numerous industry awards and accolades.
This central role encompasses devising and implementing annual marketing plans which translate business objectives to facilitate growth, for both UK parent company and US subsidiary. This includes the preparation and presentation of marketing budgets to the Executive and Board, together with internal communications to the global agent network. Work involves managing staff across numerous internal departments, negotiation with suppliers and agents, supply of creative marketing material according to specific international market or customer requirements, overseeing corporate communications and PR, global trade show schedule, web and new media activity.
