Daniel Quintana

I am currently as student-athlete at the University of Illinois. I am in my last year majoring in Economics with a focus in Mathematics. I am interested in pursuing a career in the Financial Consulting field. I am sure you will find nothing less than an eager willing to learn individual in me. Success come to those who work!

Work Experience

I recently interned at Aon in Chicago, Il. My title was US Comp and Talent Intern. I was in the financial consulting field specifically in Executive Compensation. At Aon I learned more about the consulting field, and was able to gain great working experience. I gained experience in various statistical programs including black scholes model valuation.

Skills

I have very strong analytical skills given my educational background. I am proficient in Microsoft Excel. I have developed strong leadership and communication in my experience playing football as well as being a full time student.

Aspirations

I hope to land a full time offer in the financial consulting field. With my strong analytical background as well as personable skills I believe I can be competitive in this field.

The above URL is a sample website my partner and I put together for my Business Communication class. The assignment entailed giving a business proposal for a creative idea. My partner and I decided to create an easy to use website to assist students in the loan payback process.

A presentation was also put together to complement the website. This sample work gave me the opportunity to work in a team environment to present a business proposal to a group of 20+ people.
