Daniel Thong is a philosopher, economist and an aspiring investor. He graduated from the London School of Economics in 2013 with a BSc in Philosophy and Economics. From October 2013 onwards , he will be pursuing a MSc Economics and Social History degree at the University of Oxford. He intends to specialise in the philosophy of economics.
Daniel is fascinated with the world of business and finance but with no formal training in finance, he believes he is just as handicapped as the next person when it comes to understanding financial jargon and theory (sometimes, he tears his hair out in frustration trying to understand what he believes are excessively complicated mathematical equations) . Nonetheless, he strongly believes in the importance of investing and he hopes to be able to make finance a more accessible subject to everybody by blogging about it.
In his free time, Daniel enjoys discussing about philosophy, debating about current affairs and watching his favourite football team, Manchester United.
