I am a first generation Vietnamese American who grew up in East Hartford, Connecticut. I graduated from the University of Connecticut in 2009 with a doctorate in pharmacy. Soon afterwards, I was licensed as a pharmacist in the state of Connecticut and signed with CVS Pharmacy. I worked as a CVS pharmacist for roughly a year, and am presently working for Beacon Prescriptions in New Britain, Connecticut. I also maintain a per diem pharmacist position at Windham Community Memorial Hospital.

I feel very fortunate to be one of the few individuals who can honestly say that I love what I do for a living. I wake up nearly every morning looking forward to the day's worth of work not only because I love what I do, but I want to make the most of every day. So keeping that in mind, I have been trying to be less of a workaholic in order to have more time for the finer things in life.
