Daniel Alvarez Castaño

My name is Daniel Alvarez, I was born in Bogota on May 8th, 1984.

I grew up mostly with my mom and brother, as my parents divorced when I was 5 years old and my dad moved to another country where he lived most of his life.

When graduated from high school on 2003, I decided to initiate a military career and that is when I became part of the Colombian Armed Forces. It took me approximately three years to graduate myself as a Military Science Professional.

On 2006 I entered the Army's Equestrian School and began an undergraduate program on Equestrian Administration and as an Equestrian Instructor. Being able to complete this program gave me the chance to become part of the Colombian Armed Forces Equestrian League which later on led me to represent my country in many different competitions worldwide. At the same time I started my career as a Business Administrator from which I graduated on December 2014

I got married on March of 2014 after a relationship of almost six years and we are now expecting our first baby girl, Ivanna; we look forward to that day in which we can meet her and love her deeply.

I am currently doing an MBA on Senior Management which I will graduate from in approximately a year. I am very grateful for this opportunity that God has given me to prepare myself and being able to face the future professional challenges I may have or I may encounter.
