Daniel Miles

Daniel Miles presently serves as principal of Star Residential, a real estate management and acquisitions firm in Atlanta, Georgia. The company’s primary strategy is to buy underperforming multifamily properties, working in conjunction with national and international real estate investors, upgrade and refinance them as needed, and then rent them out or sell them. Star Residential currently manages Marquis View Apartments, a 224-unit complex in Marietta, Georgia, and Marquis estate, a 300-unit complex in College Park, Georgia. Under Daniel Miles’ direction, both complexes were acquired, renovated, and renamed in order to make them marketable and financially successful. Miles and his team apply the “3R” strategy to each acquisition: recapitalize, renovate, and reposition. Earlier in his career, Daniel Miles served as principal of MPI Inc. in Atlanta, Georgia. In this position for nearly two decades, Miles managed and developed the company, which grew to a staff of 650 full-time employees with annual revenues in excess of $200 million. The firm owned 25,000 apartment units in 10 states and was the largest private owner of apartments in Georgia at one time.
