Daniel is my name, and I am an extremely passionate and knowledgeable individual within the Sporting and Management industries.

I am a recent graduate of a Bachelor of Business, majoring in Sport Management from La Trobe University, Melbourne. I also hold tertiary qualifications in both Sport and Recreation (Victoria University), and Event Management (MWT Institute), and a certification from the University of Pennsylvania in their Global Business Of Sport course.

Currently I am a Game Development Officer (GDO) with AFL Victoria, the state organisation of the Australian Football League (AFL). This position requires me to oversee the developmental initiatives of AFL Victoria in the South-West region of Melbourne, including the management of school programs, AFL 9's Competition, and the NAB AFL Playground.

I also recently completed a professional Internship during 2014 with the Carlton Football Club (of the AFL) in their Community and Fan Engagement area. My main responsibilities covered the planning, administration, coordination and delivery of a range of initiatives including the AFL Multicultural School Program, Carlton Carnivals and Carlton Family Day, to name a few. This saw me develop specific key skills, networks, and a comprehensive understanding of the importance of Fan Engagement strategies and programs.

Furthermore, a vast vocational experience throughout the Sporting industry, ranging from a national fitness chain (Fenix Fitness), retail (Rebel Sport/A-Mart Sports), through to the AFLPA (Australian Football League Players Association), AFL Sportsready, and Hyundai A-League as well (Melbourne Heart FC).

I strongly believe that 'passion' drives us - and that it is an extremely powerful resource for any person. My passion for Sport drives me to constantly achieve and strive for the best, in all that I do.
