Daniel has produced hundreds of hours of television and web programming over the past decade or so. Daniel wrote & produced the World Series of Poker in 2000 for the Discovery Channel as well as the World Poker Tour in its first season. Daniel was the first producer to introduce "running stats graphics" to show which player was in the lead as each card fell. This innovation was so well received by viewers that subsequently every poker show on tv followed suit.

Daniel has earned a U.S. Patent for one of his inventions (USPTO# 5,652,603) and is patent-pending on others. Daniel gave a TEDx talk about his meme "Sports Can Save Politics".

Daniel sold his script "Uncertain Markets" (about trading stock in kids' future earnings) to the production company Space Program LA. Along with his frequent collaborator Grant Taylor, Daniel co-wrote voice-over for "Fait Accompli" (retitled "Voodoo Dawn" for DVD release). Cutting Edge Entertainment also commissioned Daniel and Grant to rewrite "The Break". Daniel and Grant wrote the sci-fi spec script entitled "The Last Generation". Daniel wrote & directed "The Knew-it-all" (co-produced by Sean Carr) which has been accepted into 3 film festivals (AOF in Pasadena, IFFF in Denver and the prestigious Big Apple Film Festival in NYC). Daniel produced the micro-budget feature film "MINING FOR RUBY" co-starring Mischa Barton and Billy Zane. Daniel produced the Derrick Brothers' short film "Architects of Crime" which played at the LA Shorts Fest (Oscar-qualifying film festival) and the Hollywood Black Film Festival 2017. Daniel produced & co-created "Stretched", a sitcom sizzle by director Zoe Quist that was a finalist in Women in Film's Upfronts Competition. Daniel is the Co-Executive Producer of "ON WINGS OF EAGLES" starring Joseph Fiennes to be released by Sony Home Video in the late summer of 2017. Daniel has done 19 freelance directing assignments for HOUSE HUNTERS INTERNATIONAL on HGTV.
