Daniel Alves de Oliveira

In the life of Daniel Alves de Oliveira, 32 years old, married, the areas of Marketing, Strategy and Sports Management were always present in practical and academic aspects. Graduated in Sports Management, completed in 2006 at University Institute of Maia, he always had well present what wants to do: conciliate teaching with the working field, taking as compass the areas that he had prepared (and continues to improve it as PhD student on Sports Science, specialization in sports marketing at Sports Faculty of University of Porto). And the fact is that, today its main activity is teaching at CEFAD, has shared his time as University Professor and Internship Supervisor in Sport Management Degree and in the Bachelor of Physical Education and Sports at ISMAI (2006-2010) and as Teacher of Marketing and Communication at Raul Doria Professional School (2010), he was Manager of Internships Office at ISMAI (2011-2014), he never put aside the executive aspects. Just noted that from 2008 to 2010 and more recently from July to September of 2014, he was Marketing Director of a Portuguese professional football club (Leixões SC, SAD), and was also Sports Manager at Football Club Felgueiras 1932 since February to May of 2014. Between 2006 and 2009, he was Executive Director of the Portuguese Association of Sport Management was simultaneously International Correspondent of European Association of Sport Management. Fluent in English, Spanish and French, he dominates the various tools of Computing Sciences in optic of user, that knowledge allow him to manage the educational content of Maia Sports Portal and innovate as consultant in Operational Project Management of Strategic Plans of Sports Development, using an innovative methodology in the sports sector in Portugal (Balanced Scorecard), stand out, for example, consultancies of Municipalities, as well as numerous sports clubs. He is also a speaker at numerous conferences, seminars, trainings and workshops, in Portugal and abroad - with participations in Mexico, Finland and Germany. He is also collaborator at Council of Europe; International Sport and Cultural Association and European Non-Governmental Sport Organizations. As Marketing Director, he has been directly involved in major sponsorship contracts of the 107-years of the club history, he generated over than 6.5 million US Dollars in sponsorship deals with major companies.
