Daniela O'Neill
Daniela O'Neill is an Associate Professor of Developmental Psychology at the University of Waterloo and founder and Director of the UW Centre for Child Studies. Her major research interests include early pragmatic language development, the development of perspective-taking ability and its impact on early communication, and narrative development. Her research is funded by SSHRC, NSERC, CIHR and an Ontario Premier’s Research Excellence Award. She is the developer of the Language Use Inventory (LUI), a standardized parent-report questionnaire to assess early pragmatic language development in children 18 to 47 months of age.
