Daniela Uribe

Daniela was born in Colombia to a family of coffee growers and public service. She moved to DC and then to California to study at Stanford University from 2007-2012. While at Stanford, she spent much of her time thinking about and working on climate change issues and the intersection of human communities and environmental challenges. She has been part of various research projects in topics ranging from collective action mechanisms among indigenous communities in Colombia to groundwater issues affecting the American West and Australia. She spent a year in the remote Chilean Patagonia, where she worked at a small renewable energy startup near Torres del Paine National Park and where she founded the Torres del Paine Legacy Fund with her husband Drew. She's worked for various nonprofits and the social impact consulting firm FSG. She now lives in Boulder, CO where is the cofounder and CEO of Lazy Bear Tea.
