Daniel Barhorst
Teacher in St. Louis, Missouri
Daniel Barhorst is a hilarious former teacher looking to break into the creative world.
If there was a hall of fame for Americans teaching English in Asia, there would be a marble bust of me somewhere in Tokyo. I hate to brag, but when your student is invited to the national speech contest, I guess it can go to your head. However, I felt like it was time to return to North America. As the Japanese say, "The only thing that is constant is change."
As you read in the opening line, I describe myself as hilarious. I only say that because that is how my grandmother describes me to her bingo friends. She asked me when I was going to perform on Johnny Carson, but I didn't have the heart to tell her about Jimmy Fallon.
