Daniel Campbell

Philadelphia born, and Florida raised, I ventured out in the world with the intentions of earning a degree in computer science, and ended up with a captain's license instead. I plan on eventually following through with a computer related degree; that's right, I want to trade in being on the water every day, for a cubicle with a computer. I'm told that makes me a little backwards.

In my career, I started at the bottom and worked my way up over the years. Once I got as high as possible, I took a look at my life and realized I wanted more. I chose to walk away so that I can explore other segments of the maritime industry, as well as revitalize my pursuit of a computer related degree.

Career and schooling aside, thoughts that come to mind when trying to describe myself are as follow:

• Heavy coffee drinker
• Meat and potatoes kinda guy
• Computer geek
• Rock/metal/alternative/punk music
• Video/board games
• Captaining big boats

The list goes on, and I'm sure I'll fine tune it all later.
