Daniel Cid moved to Murcia, Spain in 2005 from his hometown of Santiago, Chile where he in love with Salsa and began his career. In 2008 he moved to Barcelona to train and compete with the dance company of Six-Time World Champions Adrian Rodríguez Carbajal and Anita Santos Rubín. His partner, Kathryn Warshaw, started in gymnastics at the age of three and competed from ages eight to eighteen. In 2010, she started traveling to congresses and events in the U.S with multiple dance companies in Colorado to perform and compete. Kathryn started training under Daniel’s direction in March of 2014 and joined forces to open Colorado New Style Dance Studio. Their mission is to share Daniel’s world class experience and fresh approach to Salsa dancing with the state of Colorado. Aside from classes, the perform at many local and national events and also co-direct some of the top Salsa and Bachata performance groups in Denver.
