Daniel Swanson

I recently graduated with my BA from the University of South Dakota. I majored in Contemporary Media and Journalism with a minor in English. My specializations are public relations and advertising; I love every minute of it. During my final hours at USD, I worked as a team to develop an integrated marketing campaign for a local insurance agent. I'm an active member of the Vermillion Literary Project and served as the editor-in-chief for their 2012 magazine. Now that I have completed my bachelor’s degree, I am actively looking for a position in public relations or social media. I am in love with the immediacy of social media and how it can bring businesses on a coversational level with their customers. I have recently relocated to Gilberts, IL. As a juvenile diabetic diagnosed at age 4, I've recently begun to volunteer with the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. (My team participated in the 2013 Walk for the Cure.)
