AI/HPC Architecture in Bologna, BO, Emilia-Romagna, Italy
A results‑driven technology leader with deep expertise in large‑scale AI, Cloud, and HPC infrastructures, I have led over €1B in strategic investments to build next‑generation AI/HPC supercomputers. I have deployed tens of megawatts of computing capacity and delivered platforms powered by tens of thousands of Nvidia GPUs and exabyte‑scale data platforms.
I have led the architectural design and implementation of some of most advanced European supercomputers, including Leonardo — one of EuroHPC’s flagship pre‑exascale HPC systems — and IT4LIA, a European AI Factory built to accelerate AI innovation and large‑scale data services at both national and European levels.
My career began in academia, where I built a strong international track record in scientific research on high‑performance computing, energy‑efficient data centers, and large‑scale computing architectures, with scientific publications in top‑tier venues.
Recognized for combining strategic vision with deep technical expertise, I work across industry, research institutions, and global technology providers to deliver high‑impact solutions at the intersection of AI, HPC, Cloud, and Big Data.
