Daniele Gualeni

I'm graduated as engineer but during my youth I constanly cultivated my interests in art and Design, by creating and directing magazines, cultural associations and art exhibitions. At the same time I worked as a freelance designer for different Italian companies.
In 2006 I moved to New York where I worked closely with local artists and designers.
In 2008 I improved my passion for design achieving a Masters in Design at Politecnico of Milan.
In 2009, I opened my own studio of Industrial Design in Brescia (Italy).
Since 2010, I'm a teacher of “Sustainable Design” at the “Accademia Santa Giulia” of Brescia (Italy).
From 2011 I'm cofounder and design coordinator of "ILIDE - Italian Light Design" a lamps company with exclusively Italian manufactur (www.ilide.it)
My main interests are the fusion between art and science, creativity and technique, innovative materials and ecofriendly products, and (of course) I love New York ;-)
