Daniel Edward Woodlief

Distribution Manager in North Carolina

I’m Daniel Edward Woodlief, a North Carolina–based Distribution Manager at WAGO, where I serve as the Electrical Contractor and Wholesale Specialist for the Eastern United States. I’ve spent more than 20 years in electrical distribution and factory automation, building my career from the ground up. I started working as an electrician in high school and continued developing my technical skills through college and into my professional life.

I earned my degree in Aviation Management from Southeastern Flight School and completed additional studies in Industrial Distribution, Engineering Technology, Marketing, and Voltaic Energy. Over the years, I’ve held leadership and technical roles with companies including EMSCO, GE, Wieland Electric, and Sommer Cable.

I believe success is steady progress. For me, it’s about showing up consistently, doing the job right the first time, and continuing to grow. Discipline, reliability, and adaptability are values I try to live out every day.

Outside of work, I’m a private pilot and musician. I play bass on my church’s praise and worship team and enjoy composing music. Faith, family, and personal growth are central to who I am and how I lead.
