Daniel Emery

I am Daniel, a senior SEO professional in Perth, WA. In my current role as SEO Director at Carat Australia, I work with a select group of enterprise clients.

in my previous role as Head of SEO at PWD, I successfully grew the SEO team from a team of one to a team of five SEO specialists. This cemented the agency's position as one of Perth's leading SEO teams.

Separate from my other roles, I also run the Perth SEO Agency, my own SEO consultancy.

I have experience executing full-scale SEO strategies for SMEs and ASX-listed clients across various B2B and B2C verticals.

My experience leading an SEO team at a digital agency has taught me how to make an honest and compelling business case for SEO initiatives. I’m able to communicate the value of core campaign activities to C-level executives and senior stakeholders in a simple and direct manner.

I first began my career in SEO in 2013 whilst I was studying at Curtin University. During this time, I was also competing as an amateur boxer for Australia, which saw me compete nationally for the Australian title and internationally at the international cup, where I secured a silver medal.
