Daniel Funsch

With more than 25 years of experience in the fragrance and flavor industry, Daniel Funsch currently serves as the Chief Executive Officer of Intarome Fragrance Corporation, a custom flavor and fragrance firm based in Norwood, New Jersey. Daniel Funsch began at Intarome in 1985 and quickly advanced at the company. Daniel Funsch took the position of President in 1997 and became the firm's owner in 2001. Intarome develops a wide range of custom flavors and fragrances used in a wide variety of applications, including cleaning supplies, household products, food and beverages, and cologne.

As Chief Executive Officer, Daniel Funsch oversees all functions of the company, employing a number of highly skilled flavorists and perfumers and catering to the unique needs of each customer. His colleagues and employees at Intarome pride themselves on efficiency, delivering products on time and within budget. During his time at Intarome, Daniel Funsch has overseen a number of acquisitions of other companies, including Crompton & Knowles, Kato World Wide, and American Aromatics.

Prior to joining Intarome, Daniel Funsch served as an Account Representative with Suburban Chemical from 1983 to 1985. Managing customers and sales, he expanded his territory quickly, doubling it during his tenure.

A graduate of Fairleigh Dickinson University, Daniel Funsch holds a Bachelor of Science in Management. He dedicates his time to charity, supporting both the Lupus Foundation of America and Spectrum for Living, an organization supporting the rights and needs of adults with developmental disabilities.

Daniel Funsch enjoys snow skiing and travel, and has visited many countries around the world, including Italy, New Zealand, England, Korea, Australia, and Fiji. Mr. Funsch collects cars, including a Maserati, a Viper, a Prowler, a Hummer, and a Bentley GTC. He also owns two boats, in which he enjoys spending time.
