Daniel Koetting is the founder and CEO of Rivo Holdings, LLC, which advises financial services’ companies on how to best optimize the customer experience to help sustain long-term growth and success. As a leader within the industry and with decades of experience, Mr. Koetting understands that it is the customer that ultimately defines a company’s success. Dan believes that to be successful in today’s competitive business environment, companies must adopt a customer-centric philosophy that builds processes and procedures around the end user. Whether it be the quality the customer experience or an appreciation for the customer’s time, companies are best served when they invest, streamline, and innovate their business around the customer vs. implementing reactive, short-sighted stopgap measures that produce mediocre results at best.

Prior to launching his career, Mr. Koetting studied Liberal Arts at the University of Missouri, where he gained an appreciation for philosophy and critical thinking. The opportunity to study Liberal Arts not only advanced his developing world view but also established the foundation for his career. By gaining an appreciation for various concepts and principles, in addition to cultivating the skills required to become a lifelong learner, Mr. Koetting gained an aptitude for developing strategies that propel others to succeed.

Mr. Koetting also believes that being of service and giving back to the community is not only a responsibility of successful business leaders, it is also a duty. Dan supports several charitable organizations and sponsors several children’s and adult sports teams. Among the charities he is most passionate about:

• The Tariq Khamisa Foundation (TKF). A San Diego nonprofit with the mission to educate and inspire children in the restorative principles of accountability, compassion, forgiveness, peacemaking and support for safer schools and communities (to learn more about the TFK Foundation visit www.tkf.org
