My name is Daniel Koitka. I am currently studying a bachelor of games development, majoring in games programming at SAE Qantm in West end Brisbane. I hope to one day succeed in the industry and have been learning through online documents for the past 5 years to make games.This degree that I am currently enrolled in for the next 2 years will act as a stepping stone to help me make a name for myself in the world of games production.

For the past 5 years I have been working in Unity3d (a 3D game engine with a free basic edition), using their API and Youtube tutorials to build many project that have sadly remained incomplete. The interest in game making started soon after I received a 2010 Macbook Pro for use in high school, I looked up how to make 3d games and a list of free 3d game engines appear to which I researched the Unity3d game engine and started using it. It began as taking scripts from different projects and applying them to simple objects to try to make a game. After a few months of trying to make levels and such, I decided to start programming to make my own scripts. This started off poorly but gradually became more complicated, although my structuring and use of certain programming techniques which were terribly inefficient would make any experienced programmer keel over.

Hoping to boost my possible programming career, I enrolled myself in SAE and have been loving it since. One day hopefully you will see my name amongst the greats.
