Kenyan Bred Professional Photographer!!
I am an open minded, risk-taker and industrious chap. I have been doing professional photography for about eight years. My work has taken me to places all over Kenya. I am primarily self-taught, though I have "carried the bags" of a few amazing veterans in the industry. The knowledge I gained from those experiences is immeasurable.
Inspired by life, I seek to make a fortune out of this life. I have practiced different types of businesses over time, though, I can say with certainty my passion for photography comes from peoples personalities, moods and feelings.
The things that separate snapshots from photographs; things that appeal to more than our sense of sight and encapsulate a feeling to open later and re-experience... to share with loved ones.
Photography is a passion. I live it, I love it; earning from it is simply a bonus. If asked what kind of photography I do, I rarely limit my creative spectrum. I find it difficult to confine myself to a singular label.
My everyday principles state that as an artist, growth is an ongoing process and there is no reason to put a limits on my artistic skills. Each day, i live to grow my boundaries. "Comfort zones" are terms I look down upon. Regardless, I do have my personal favorites. I love shooting weddings, fashion and portraits.
Within everyone there is artistic skills that can be tapped into, but only those who are passionate and ambitious ever tap into that and become artists. I wasn't born talented, I was born ambitious. Having interacted with a good number of photographers in the region, I would confidently say there is now one perfect creative out there. We all do what we can to keep tabs with our ever evolving world.
Social media is particularly a great motivation. Seeing my fans liking, commenting and appreciating my creations push me to do what I do now. The encouragement may sometimes seem unnoticed but it helps to keep me "clicking". I thank all of my
loyal and dedicated fans for believing in me and together we keep soaring higher.
