Daniella Brewer

Hello, I’m Daniella (Dani, if it’s easier)! I am a second year Ryerson University student who is finally getting used to the excitement of living in downtown Toronto. Currently, I am studying in the Sport Media program in Ryerson’s Faculty of Communication and Design. This was a program and a field I had wanted to go into for a long time, as I have had success in Sport Marketing courses as well as in work for my hometown hockey team, the Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds. I love the aspects of production and working behind the scenes of a broadcast, where I like spending most of my time holding a camera. I also enjoy the ever-changing tactics of advertising, and enjoy learning about the adaptation of current technology into marketing. I’m an avid hockey watcher (if that wasn’t obvious already) and I have a passion for performance arts. Both of these interests come in handy when singing the National Anthem at hometown games, which is something I take a lot of pride in. My dream is to one day have a position on the marketing team of an NHL team - no preference, honestly, but I’ll conclude with a simple “Go Habs Go” (Toronto Employers, if you see this, please disregard the last statement)!
