In the years prior to his time at Access Insurance Holdings, Inc., Dan Lazarek served in a variety of executive and managerial roles at several telecommunications companies. Lazarek had consistent success serving as Executive Vice President at both Citizens Communications and WorldPort Communications, Inc. Responsible for profit/loss, Lazarek substantially increased revenue in his time at both companies. As Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of WorldPort, Dan Lazarek used “turnaround” management capabilities to grow the company’s $2-million monthly revenue to more than $5 million in just two years.
Along with his success creating profitable business models, Dan Lazarek also commits himself personally to raising money to help fight cancer. In 2010, he participated for the fourth time in the Pan-Mass bicycle race, which covers 192 miles in two days and helps raise money for The Jimmy Fund. In the four years he has participated, he has personally raised over $100,000 through contributions and his own individual donations. Dan Lazarek hopes to participate again in 2011.
