My name is Danielle Belanger and I'm a National Academy of Sports Medicine Certified Personal Trainer and a Holistic Health Coach.
I believe everyone can benefit from improved fitness, so I strive to create safe, accessible training programs for clients of all levels. I especially enjoy working with new exercisers, seniors and those interested in weight loss.
I studied Health Coaching at the Institute for Integrative Nutrition, where I learned over 100 dietary theories. In my practice, I help clients discover what works best for them as individuals and support them as they make lifestyle changes that will enhance their health and happiness.
I earned a B.A., magna cum laude, in Mathematics, from Wellesley College and an M.B.A., with high honors, from the Simmons School of Management. Before turning my passion for health and fitness into a career, I worked as a business consultant for over a decade. Some of the skills I honed through my previous experience, such as problem solving and goal setting, are of great benefit in helping my clients navigate their journeys to wellness.
In addition to my NASM CPT certification, I hold a NASM Senior Fitness Specialist certification in training older adults and I completed specialty training in exercise for prenatal and postpartum clients. I am also trained in CPR/AED by the American Heart Association and I maintain professional liability insurance.
