Danielle Bonner
I like to describe myself as a budding peacebuilder who is open to new learning and travelling experiences. Having graduated in 2011 with a Masters in Peace and Conflict Studies I have since been involved in a range of peacebuilding activities in Northern Ireland and the border region. I’m currently working with the Donegal Women’s Network supporting women in the community, and promoting equality and human rights. While also campaigning for equal representation in politics and working on a project which introduces youth to peace, conflict and equality. Since 2012 I’ve also been supporting a number of peace and development projects in Afghanistan volunteering for the peace charity Pax Populi.
My career ambition is to support the development and delivery of sustainable methods which will support societies, build national capacity and address the challenges which restrict their development.
