Danielle Clayton is currently a junior at one of the states top universities, North Carolina Central University located in Durham, North Carolina. She graduated from Southern High School in 1999 after overcoming the tragic death of her mother being murdered two years earlier. Ms. Clayton went onto Fayetteville State University where she completed two years of studying at the facility. Due to the recession, she was laid off from work and was finding it difficult to find a job that she wanted without a Bachelor degree in science. With the encouragement of her kids and family, she went on and enrolled at NCCU. "I refuse to believe that there is nothing in life that you cannot overcome without the three D's. That is determination, direction, and devotion".
