Passionate writer, active dreamer, and aspiring editor Danielle Crozier is destined to write her way into a successful future. This introverted writer pursued her passion at the University of Trent and continues her studies in the Public Relations program at Durham College in Oshawa Ontario. With her first science fiction novel underway, Oshawa native Crozier is sure to impress potential employers with her creative writing.
Currently interning at the Ontario Federation of Anglers and Hunters in Peterborough Ontario, Crozier is utilizing her writing expertise everyday. She is responsible for assisting with copy editing and layout for Hotline Magazine and editing for Ontario Out of Doors magazine. This has given Crozier the practice she desires to take the next step in her career. Much of Crozier’s tasks at the Ontario Federation of Anglers and Hunters include writing media releases and producing collateral materials for the 86th Annual Fish and Wildlife Conference in March 2014.
In addition, Crozier is known for being reliable and always being able to get the job done, and done well. With tight deadlines never being an issue, she has taken on the role of copy editor for the Durham College Reflections Alumni magazine. The magazine reaches a large audience of all graduates from the college.
Much of Crozier’s downtime is spent reading novels and thinking of creative ways to enhance her writing ability. For instance this past February 2014 she executed a successful murder mystery event where all money raised was donated to charity. The event demonstrated her leadership abilities by managing other team members, selling tickets, securing a venue, searching for volunteers and coming up with the idea from scratch. This kind of creative outside the box thinking will help her stand out of amongst the competition.
