Growing up in a house with a hard working woman nothing was handed to me. I was always taught the value of hard work and perseverance. i can honestly say i have never been lazy when it comes to working. I am a true go getter, my motto is go hard or fail when it comes to providing for my family and working to get what I want out of life. I am currently employed as a recruiter in the pathways program, at the US Department of State. I have been with the Department of State since 2009,my11th grade year in high school. Being no stranger to working I am also employed at Starbucks Coffee Company as a Barista/Barista Trainer. Knowing that nothing is handed to you in life I approach my future with that same motto.
I am a senior at North Carolina Central University, dual majoring in bio-pharmaceutical science and chemistry with a concentration in biochemistry. Post graduation, I plan to attend Aveada Institute to become a licensed esthetician. With this fundamental knowledge of skin and techniques in skin care I will go on to get a Masters degree in Cosmetic Sciences. Ultimately, my plan is to become an entrepreneur, producing a skin care and cosmetics line for all ethnicities and skin types.
In my spare time I enjoy cars, friends, hair consulting, and makeup. My love for cars has recently found myself in a car club. I am a member of the Maryland Chapter of Queens and Kings Ryderz. It is a club for Dodge chargers, challengers, magnums, and Chrysler 300’s. I own a 2013 black dodge charger. I also have an undeniable love for makeup and hair. Thus the reason why I want my own cosmetic and skin care line. I like to compare products down to the chemical level to see how they work not only on me but also on others. I enjoy the application of makeup as well not as much as the mechanics and chemicals of building a good quality product.
