They call me The Ghost.

Since I was old enough to hold a pen, I always wanted to make a career out of writing. Little did I know that one day I would have my work appear in places all over the internet... with a different name on the Author Plate.

I am a ghostwriter for LeadGeneratorsDigital, a London-based Digital Agency that specialises in content marketing. It is my job, as part of a team of professional writers, to craft useful, engaging content for our clients in a variety of formats, including blog posts, link building articles, press releases, infographics and social media snippets.

I can honestly say that producing content for LeadGeneratorsDigital has tested my writing mettle more than any creative writing course I have ever been on. Ghostwriting 1) from a specific voice 2) for a specific audience 3) seamlessly integrating specific key phrases 4) in a specific word count 5) with time pressure is a challenge that any enthusiastic writer would relish.

You may have seen my ghostly fingerprints on content for brands such as Prestige Holidays, European Waterways, Shuttle Direct and Can Be Done Holidays. One day I might be writing a blog post on the strangest courier loads for Courier Exchange, while the next I will be waxing lyrical about the comprehensive excess insurance policies from LowerHire. There’s never a dull day in the office!

I am also a keen traveller – it is my aim to visit every continent in the world (6 down, 1 to go). The dream is to one day see my travel memoirs on the shelves of Waterstones... watch this space ;).
