I'm an engineer by academic education (& economics), but also wearing many other hats. Currently working in Business Intelligence, Analytics, & Information Tech. My previous entrepreneurial involvements include a natural human interaction and an app dev startup, as well as alternative/clean energy research, integrated transport systems and the more traditional engineering projects while at UofT.
At core I'm extremely curious - there's so much to be learnt and explored! Besides the current practical state of tech & engineering, I also love design/art, and am easily fascinated by the future - scientific breakthroughs, computing, emerging tech, medical advancement, energy, space...
I'm a sister, with three younger siblings that I adore. Being a minority girl in tech it is important to me that I aspire closing the gender gap, and advocating for STEM. (I believe) they make the world a better place, and push humanity forward. The best way to predict the future is to invent (or help with) it.
I'm generally optimistic and groovy. I love exploring, learning, adventures, travel, new friends, humor/comedies, making arts, dancing, music, cultures, nature, sports, reading (just about everything - literature, STEM, history, psych, politics, economics, philosophy). I can be found and would love to be connected via the various social channels listed below. Thanks for letting me picking your brain.
I'm an atheist, a modernist and support progress.
